MEET YOUR COACHES

JAYDEN RYKERS

MX101 Coaching was founded by Jayden Rykers, a Perth-born former professional rider and 13-time State Champion who raced at the top level in Australia and overseas. Over his racing career, Jayden trained under more than eight different coaches, each with their own style and methods. He kept the parts that worked, dropped the parts that didn't, and built them into one system — the MX101 coaching philosophy and playbook every MX101 coach now works from.

MEET YOUR HEAD COACH

Perth-born Jayden Rykers was racing from five and at state level by six, coming through the Yamaha and Honda junior programs. Growing up self-reliant as an only child gave him a simple standard he still coaches by: go 100% or don’t bother. He moved to Victoria to race full time and spent 23 years in the boots, winning 13 state titles and finishing second in the Australian Under 19 MX Championship. He also took multiple pro-level podiums, rode for Raceline KTM and Empire Kawasaki, and raced in Europe, New Zealand and Indonesia.

Training under more than eight coaches, Jayden took the best of each and built it into the MX101 coaching philosophy and playbook. He’s also a qualified PT. What started as Rykers MX Academy grew into MX101, and with 20 years of coaching behind him, he now leads a team with more than 25 years of combined experience.
