MX101 x Berry Sweet Yamaha 3 Day Down South Camp
Fri 4 – Sun 6 December 2026
Location: Southern Capes Motorcycle Club, Jindong WA — 15 minutes from Busselton
All riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian on site with eyes on them for the duration of the camp. MX101 does not take on the guardian role at any event.
SPOTS ARE LIMITED
Numbers are capped to keep coach-to-rider ratios right. Entries close 7 days before the camp and it fills on repeat riders most years — book early. No late entries once groups and run sheets are locked in.

THE FORMAT
Three mornings on track at Southern Capes. Afternoons are yours.
Most families base themselves in Busselton. Camping at the track is also available — toilet and shower capacity is limited, so plan accordingly.
Our longest-running trip away, and the format hasn't changed in years because it works.
Why three days?
Day one — assess. We watch every rider properly before we say a word, then pick one or two things worth working on. Not ten. Two.
Day two — build. Yesterday's work is still in their body. We layer the next piece on top. This is where the change usually starts showing.
Day three — pressure. Full sessions, moto simulations, drills applied at pace. If a skill survives day three, it's going home with them.
Riders don't leave faster because we shouted "go faster". They leave with something repeatable.
WHAT WE COVER
On track
- Body position under brakes, on throttle and in the air
- Cornering — ruts, flat corners, berms, line choice
- Braking and throttle control, working together
- Jumping technique, pitched to each rider's level
- Track reading — walking a track, spotting fast lines, adapting as it changes
- Moto simulations and race craft on day three
Away from the track
- Bike setup and pre-ride checks the rider can do themselves
- Warm-up and preparation routines
- The mental side — nerves, focus, resetting after mistakes
- Structuring practice at home so the work continues after camp
WHO'S IT FOR
Everyone. First-year 50cc kids through to seniors on 250s and 450s. Vets coming back to the sport, trail riders who want to ride properly, and racers chasing state and national results.
Grouped by ability, not age or bike size. Groups are set on day one after we've seen everyone ride.
Some of the biggest gains we see are adult riders who've been riding twenty years and never had anyone coach them.
Unsure if a junior rider is ready? Email us before booking and we'll talk it through honestly.
SESSION TIMES
Mornings only, all three days. Sign-on and bike checks first, then on track.
Exact times, gate access, camping arrangements and what to bring are confirmed in your Final Instructions once you're booked.
ACCOMODATION & TRAVEL
Accommodation isn't included.
Camp at the track — roll out of the swag and onto the bike. Facilities are limited, so come self-sufficient.
Busselton — the usual base, an easy run to the track each morning. Book early in school holidays; the town fills fast.
