SERVICE TURNAROUND TIMES
General servicing and minor jobs: Usually same day, up to 2 days
Diagnostics: About 48 hours
Suspension servicing: About 48 hours
Revalving and spring changes: About 1 week
Full engine rebuilds: 1–2 weeks (a four-stroke rebuild alone is around 16 hours of labour)
All times depend on parts availability (some parts come from eastern states suppliers), deposits being paid, and how quickly we can reach you for approvals. The faster we hear back, the faster your bike is back.
COLLECTION & DROPOFF SERVICE
Is the pickup and collection service still going ahead?
We don't currently offer home pickup and delivery. Instead, you can drop your bike off to us at the track. Track drop-offs run every week, except in December and January.
What area does it cover?
Chidlow MX Club - Tuesday - 3:45pm – 5:45pm
Bunbury - Wednesday - 3:45pm – 5:45pm
Wanneroo - Thursday - 3:45pm – 5:45pm
What does it cost?
$25 each way. Drop-off only is $25; drop-off and return to the track is $50.
Which days and times, and how much notice is needed?
See the table above. Same-day bookings are fine if a spot is free. We can take 2 bikes per day, so book early to secure your spot.
How do customers book it?
Book online or by calling the workshop. Track drop-offs aren't accepted without a booking. Drop-off fees and the deposit for your work are paid upfront when you book. If you miss your drop-off or return time, the fees aren't refundable.
Does the customer need to be present?
Not applicable, since customers bring the bike to the track themselves. Here's how it works:
- Book your drop-off.
- Bring your bike to the track during the drop-off window.
- We take it back to the workshop. Track drop-offs run on a one-week turnaround.
- Once the work is complete, collect your bike from the MX101 workshop in Rockingham, or we can bring it back to you at one of our scheduled track locations.
How should the bike be prepared?
There's nothing you need to do before dropping your bike off. Note that bikes arriving excessively dirty may incur a cleaning charge at our labour rate.
Who's liable for the bike in transit?
Track drop-off is a convenience service, and bikes are transported at the owner's risk. MX101 does not cover transport damage and holds no insurance for customer bikes in transit, to the extent permitted by law. We always take reasonable care with every bike we carry. If you'd like cover, check whether your own bike insurance applies while it's being transported.
WORKSHOP GUARUNTEE
We stand behind our team's work. If an issue comes back within 30 days that's related to the work we did, we'll make it right.
Off-road bikes live a hard life, so problems caused by maintenance, crashes, wear and tear, or unrelated faults aren't covered. If something comes back, we'll diagnose it first to work out whether it's connected to our work. Either way, talk to us and we'll always do the right thing.
We can't guarantee a bike won't break. Off-road bikes don't come with that promise even brand new, and fixing one part doesn't stop another from failing on the next ride. What we do guarantee is honesty: when your bike leaves the workshop, we'll tell you its condition and anything that's worn or likely to need attention soon.
This promise is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
